Peach Crisp Smoothie

This smoothie has all the elements of a peach crisp, cinnamon, brown sugar, oats, a touch of nutmeg and peaches of course. I have been craving a refreshing peachy smoothie lately and this was just the thing I was looking for. This smoothie is not too sweet, if you like your smoothies a bit sweeter try adding some honey or even maple syrup may be good.

1/2 cup Old Fashioned Oats
1 cup Low-Fat Vanilla Yogurt
8 ounces Frozen Peaches (you can use fresh too)
1 cup Low-Fat Milk
4 teaspoons Brown Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon Freshly Ground Nutmeg

Put all of the ingredients into to the blender and blend until smooth.

Makes 2 Smoothies

  1. I have peaches thawed in my refrigerator RIGHT NOW and I wondered what I would do with them. I'm having this as soon as I get home from work. THANK YOU. *would rum make it better?*
